performing on the tonight show with prince

a few weeks ago i had the pleasure of performing on The Tonight Show with Prince & the Fam... i scratched,i danced. we had fun as always & towards the end  some of my speeecial friends even came up & joined in!!:) Moni,Esthero (strawberry shortcake:), Shels, Jack & Brooke(J*davey). then we went and had jamaican food & lots of gingerbeer & rum..mmmmm

i forgot to mention the DRESS...

ah the Dress, provided by the House of Petrozillia. A chiffon, gold chained ,sculpted dream.

-played twice at the homie Rob Wonders club "EL BAR" & kicked it with my folks from waaaaaaay back in the day 

- went to high school & art school in the A, so just about someone from every phase of my southern life came out...eye opening to say the least

shout outs 2 everyone who came out : Lan, Kai Alce, Dj Jamad,DAKS, Tori Alamaze,mon copine, Nefertiti,Marcia (the ill artist), Chiefs of Enchantment (the ill artisan) , Monica Payne, Rozzie Daime, Thomas Bess, Janelle Monae 4 the finest southern lunch and errry body else...im leaving many out but it was pure LOVE ..the A. wowzers

where to begin

hmmm, well i guess we'll start with my latest exploits. shall we..

i've just arrived home in LA after being gone for 3 weeks. 

i went to Koh Chang,Bangkok,NYC, & Atlanta.

in NYC i......

-was invited to play "Soul Slam" (Prince & MJ all night) with the incomparable DJ Spinna (which mind u was very big for me because i know he doesn't play with just anybody & he's one of my fav dj's of all time!!!!!)

-looked like a member of Rashida 6 , Spinna looked like he stepped off the set of "Say Say Say"

-played the Prince, he played the MJ

-played from 10-430 am, there were 500 ppl wrapped around the block b4 the doors opened! 

- think it's great that ppl like Puff Did, &  Ed Lover  came thru & lost their minds..

-LOVE that Fab, Q-tip, Grand Puba, & Estelle, Om'aas & other familiar faces came thru & also gave it up 2 the music..

-LOVE that Grey Ant dressed me 4 the occasion :)
